
At the Cairn we aim to create a friendly and comfortable ambiance
where one can enjoy fine culinary delights that are freshly prepared
each day on the premises. If eating is not your fancy then relax
sipping one of our creamy hot chocolates, sprinkled with Belgium
chocolate, accompanied by a flake whilst listening to the in-store
waterfall tumbling down.
The Cairn was established in October 2000 by Fiona and Andrew MacInnes,
a brother and sister partnership. Both partners have extensive experience
within the catering and hospitality industry, 20 years between them
ranging from around the world. Fiona has recently returned from
the famous Ballymaloe cookery school in Ireland where she trained
for three months before graduating with her diploma.
A
combination of her travels and study have blended an interesting
range of recipes that you can taste on a daily basis at either of
the Cairn bistros.
